FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my roof has storm damage?
Hail damage is often hard to see from the ground. Dents in gutters, vents and other metal on the roof are common signs that the shingles may be damaged as well.
Is storm damage covered by insurance?
Damage from hail and wind is often covered by homeowners insurance, while normal wear and age usually are not. Check your policy or talk with your insurance company.
Can a contractor waive my deductible?
No. In Texas it is against the law for a contractor to pay, waive or rebate your insurance deductible.
How soon should I have my roof looked at after a storm?
As soon as you can. Insurance policies have deadlines for filing a claim, and a damaged roof can lead to interior damage the next time it rains.
